Private Lessons
An excellent choice for students at every level of experience and ability. In their private lessons, school-age students experience an encouraging learning environment where individual abilities and preferences are developed through exciting literature, motivational rewards, positive performance experiences, and the best in pedagogical approaches.
Teachers accommodate private students at their own individual pace and create a program of study that best suits each student’s interests, abilities and goals. Close communication between studio and home keeps parents involved and assists them in being supportive partners at home, thereby helping to ensure maximum success for each student. Thirty- and forty-five minute weekly lesson options are available.
Elite Artistry Piano Study Program
Available by audition only, the Elite Artistry Piano Study Program offers serious and talented students an accelerated, college-prep, piano program. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Carol Baskins, Elite Artistry students pursue a customized course of graded piano study in their private lessons, including major repertoire, advanced theory, technique, and performance skill. Forty-five and sixty-minute weekly lesson options are available.
Semi-Private Lessons
Two students are paired together based on age, skill level and musical goals for a weekly 30-minute lesson. This environment allows students to receive and thrive on individual attention while also learning from their partner’s development. Semi-private lessons are not available for all instruments, and are subject to availability.

Monthly Skillmasters Performance Classes
We place tremendous emphasis on our Skillmasters Performance Classes to provide our private and semi-private school-age students with the opportunity to become well-rounded musicians. They will experience theory review, performance opportunities, music appreciation, studies of classical composers and their music, ear training activities, ensemble experience and musical games.
Skillmasters Performance Classes reduce the sense of isolation or discouragement that can occur in private and semi-private lessons, thereby keeping students excited about continuing to take lessons. Most of all, the Skillmasters Performance classes are designed to be FUN, something that the students really anticipate and enjoy. There are six Skillmasters Performance Classes scheduled throughout the school year. Class assignments will be confirmed in early October, or shortly after registration.
Introductory Classes for Piano and Strings
Blast-Off with Piano
It’s the perfect start!! Blast-Off! gives beginning students a successful introduction to the piano and the small group setting makes it extra fun! Learn keyboard geography and rhythm basics, enjoy fun sheets and games, and share in the joy of music together. Each student learns on their own digital piano in our digital piano lab. Special performances on the last day of each session.
First Strings
Begin your strings “career” and get a head start on private lessons when you sign up for this beginning class! With this enjoyable introduction to the violin, students learn basic bow grip, hand position, and fingerings. Game time and hands-on experience with a violin just your size also ensures a fun and successful introduction to the violin.
