“Superheroes are the best of us. Never mind all those powers or the crazy costumes. The heart of a superhero is meant to inspire.”-Marjorie Liu
This year our overarching theme at Piano Central Studios is Musical Superpowers. Most of us are familiar with some of the common superheroes of the Marvel and DC comics that are often known by their distinctive superpowers and crazy costumes.
But on a more relatable level, there are superheroes in our community who wear different costumes: a set of scrubs, a police uniform, a firefighter uniform, a lanyard which tells what grade and school they teach at, or the everyday clothes of those raising the next generation.
Whatever your costume is, we here at PCS want to inspire our students to become the best they can be as budding musicians. We intentionally create a nurturing environment where individual ability and interest is developed through activities and instruction carefully tailored to each student’s unique potential, learning style, and interests. Our desire is to inspire our students so that they absolutely flourish, enjoying their classes and lessons so much that making music becomes a vital part of who they are for the rest of their lives.
Here at PCS, we care about inspiring each one of our students – from our Kindermusik babies to our adult students – to explore, create, collaborate, and persevere in the process of learning to love and enjoy music to its fullest so that they can achieve all of their musical goals, aspirations, and dreams.
